In general I agree.
Often creating a -cvs spell to test the latest and greatest from some project
is the quickest thing to do, but longterm leads to maintenance issues and
grimoire bloating.
I would much rather see a single spell with a configure choice than a second
*-cvs spell that conflicts etc.
I have only 4 or so cvs spells in games and plan to integrate them into the
regular spell when more pressing bugs have been fixed.
Some projects depends/requirements differ in their cvs version and these
spells should be the exception to the general rule. A versioning issue like
MPlayer-cvs working with only ffmpeg-cvs is probably the only valid reason to
make a seperate -cvs spell
The single proviso is that a *conbination* release/cvs spell must work out of
the box for both choices.
