Adding versioning to spells has been discussed several times. The
unfortunate fact is that there aren't enough sorcery developers to write
the stuff (heck we have enough trouble handling bugs), and the load on
grimoire gurus would increase significantly. Maintainability is priority
1 to me ;)

Volunteers for sorcery or grimoire are always welcome :)
