I'm /against/ having only /some/ spells in the devel grimoire. I want them /all/ still there.

this is what I had thought we were doing, devel is 'work in progress'
stuff. The only difference we are discussing now is to get rid of spells
in devel that are already working and have no need to be there, so that
way we dont have to constantly fix things in devel and integrate. Maybe
im misreading your post or missing the reference. In either case I am also
in full support of random partially working spells in devel (complete
with a here there be dragons sign), thats what its there for IMO, in no
way did I mean to criticize that approach in my former posts.

Please register my objection. I'm using three different computers to work on grimoire when time permits, and it's very convenient for me to have devel grimoire as it is right now, when only enthusiasts have access to it. I can have the luxury of committing incomplete spell (in devel) and work on it later from another station. If there's any other way to do this, and have just test and stable grimoires, than I'd agree. The thing you're suggesting, having to develop/proof-of-concept spells in devel is so inconvenient that we will abandon devel grimoire completely very soon. It will become an inconvenience, not a tool.
Going back to my silent mode. Cheers :-)!

I vote for a minimal grimoire with only the different spells.
