Although the sorcery team is much smaller, I can tell you one thing that
might be bad. If there are no assigned sections, I have a tendency to
just pick the interesting bugs and assume someone else (no names ;) will
take care of the plethora of others.

With no assigned sections, you can't take pride in having your section
bug free, and no incentive to fix those last few annoying bugs in a
section.

OTOH, it's easier to manage and if you get the itch you can really clean
up.
