show me the line where I said bus+id is ideal.

...right... I didn't...
the closest I came was saying that I think they're a) the best we've
come up with so far for pci devices and b) by far less volatile for pci.

...since I would reply the exact same things I allready wrote about
what's so inherently wrong about using MAC... I don't...

I don't use it so don't care enough
