Like planned, here is a new release of all ISO. This should help people
test them and test bugs fix and is more compliant with the "release
often, release early" trend.
I just had some time and tried it. Progress is great. ;-)
Thanks.
Some comments and suggestions:
1) When I tried Install menu D) Make RAIDdevices I only saw: evmsn commnd not found
/usr/sbin/smgl.install line 2708
2) Select partitions - it could be fine if extended partition wasn't displayed. It can be confusing for users. See my suggestion at http://bugs.sourcemage.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6411#c6
Hamish liked it and I think his ISO didn't displayed extended partition.
3) Name of box - it is always problem for me to invent new name.
There is a default name sourcemage. I know users who really use it.
It was be great if there was some list of names and user could easily choose one of them. There could be several areas like Matrix, StarWars, LOTR, ...
I know it is a silliness but certainly can save some time. And I do not know linux distro with this feature.
Copyright by Source Mage. :-)
4) Select optional spells to install: it is quite confusing, I do not know if I have to select them or no. Some spell should be marked (linux, ...).
5) I know someones are working on hardware detection. Now I would like to have at least lspci, lshw, ...
6) Something for Source Mage propagation:
We have a patch for framebuffer with raven. It could be great if instead of penguin the raven was displayed. :-)
ISO should have a label (Source Mage) displayed in the Microsoft Windows.
When the ISO is inserted in Microsoft Windows something should be displayed. At least html page about Source Mage GNU/Linux. (PR team).
ISO should have support for Microsoft Windows file system (Joliet file system?, mkisofs with option -J). Now users can see only 8.3 capitals.

Are we really up-to-date http://distrowatch.com/sourcemage ?
