I had a simmilar problem to this when I installed sourcemage from the 0.93
iso then when I updated the kernel, gcc, glibc, and glibc-kernel-headers, ran
into the same sort of problem when I rebooted, but when I booted to the
install cd and fsck'ed the disk it rebooted fine, not sure what happened
but... it worked.
