You can boot with "init=/bin/bash" and then you'll be on your with only bash
running. You may want to boot from an ISO, mount your root partition, and then
untar your last working glibc cache to your root partition to restore the old
glibc.

Well that didn't work, I received the same kernel panic suggesting to set "init=" :)
