Personal and of course for school stuff.

I've got four computers with SMGL installed.

server, workstation, laptop and a development/testing box

Mostly use the workstation and laptop for coding and other more typical
desktop use.

My server runs the following daemons: http, http proxy, ssh, dns and
subversion.

My general reason for choosing a source based distro is control, I want
be to able to have a fairly complete picture of what is on my computers
and how the parts fit together. This is something that I felt SMGL
provided in a better way than the other distros I looked at (granted, I
didn't look at more than one or two others).

Another reason why I chose SMGL specifically was the emphasis on freedom
and the strong support for GPL.

The distro itself fit my purposes quite well and it's mostly design
issues with Sorcery that I feel needs work (separation between backend
and frontend for example).

Nope.
