That's a great idea! ;)

Care to write a patch to add support for it in Sorcery? This would probably
just
do a check, and if it's run as non-root, ask if the user would like to install
to his home dir, if so, set the install path to $HOME and continue on, if not,
prompt for root password and continue as normal.

We already have three GUIs: xsorcery, ksorcery, and Tim.

xsorcery comes with Sorcery (needs the Xdialog package to be installed), but
hasn't been updated in a while and may not work.

ksorcery is a KDE-based front-end to Sorcery written by one of our users, Zach
Hobbs, and works fairly well.

Tim is a GNOME-based front-end written by another of our users, Eric
Sesterhenn,
but, like xsorcery, has not been updated in a while and may not work with the
newer (post 0.9) Sorcerys.
