I don't really have a problem with this, though I wonder why anyone
would want to. Spells are fairly useless for stuff that you build from
CVS for several reasons. If you install in a separate prefix anyway,
tracking files is probably non-essential. Also, if you're going to build
from CVS, why would you want to download a huge snapshot tarball every
other day and build the whole thing when you could keep an actual
checkout, and build only the files that have changed between each time
you update?

I usually build several packages out of CVS, but using spells to do it
has never occured to me as being very productive.
