I never really understood the rationale for a time based release
schedule before 1.0. Time based releases are great for software that's
already well spread, but i think a 1.0 release should be based on
features, not some random date.
I also agree with the idea of having more meetings, not of all
developers at the same time but smaller ones. Some developers never
showed up to a meeting, with more and smaller meetings that would
probably change, as not everyone is available at the same times.

Oh, and a note to all developers: please show up on irc sometimes. You
don't have to be always on like i am (after all not everyones an irc
addict ;), but being there every now and then greatly enhances the work
between sections, and a real conversation is much better to solve issues
than email most of the time.
