No tomatoes coming form me, I appreciate your candour.
There is truly only one thing I am bent out of shape about. In the last year
I
have tried on several occasions to have a meaningful discussion about the
roadmap and teams not achieving their goals. My intention has always been to
first find the problem, then find a solution and lastly fix the problem. This
method, although efficient, has offended quite a few people. Unfortunately I
am unable to change that, if a developer is unwilling to constructively
discuss their own work then they should rethink volunteering for opensource
duties. Harsh, but I think also true.
In good faith I spent a lot of time working on grimoire bugs, assuming other
teams were also making similar progress, and expecting 1.0 to be accompanied
by a robust, well featured ISO and sorcery suite. This was not the case and
so I have finally done what my conscience has been telling me to do for some
time. I say "I want the 1.0 ISO to have features we all agreed are worthwhile
and I will make it happen with or without the support of other people".
I think I know my worth to this project, that my perspective is accurate and
that blunt as I am, I remain open to discussion but will not be pressured
into compromising what I have worked so hard for.

I won't call a meeting as I am leaving after I have finished with the 1.0
ISO,
but I think an extra-ordinary meeting to discuss all of this should be
called. Now that pandoras box has been opened and people seem to be in
agreement that problems do exist they should be addressed in a meeting.
