Toby:
Scott did post this article directly to the list a few days ago. List
members who maintain permaculture blogs, G+ pages, lists, forums and
websites could and should do as you requested,
post it as a sticky blog or forum post or as part of a static file display,
i.e. collection of important documents that are always accessable.
Is there any possibility you/we could simply lose Facebook as a first order
place to communicate on the subject of PC, at least about important ideas
and news such as Scott's thread?
Google+ is far more useful, flexible and robust, by many orders of
magnitude and individual's blogs and websites are even better, all of which
can develop a portal section to link with everyone else's resources. Sure,
its easy to use but its pages are not viewable by the public and it is a
very poor place to store, organize and make available collections of
information, a task people seriously concerned about how permaculture
evolves throughout the world should spend time on. People should use online
resources that do offer those features missing at FB. If you need to get
the word out about cutting edge news, events and projects than use all of
these resources: Google+, FB, Twitter, Reddit, Pinterest, Tumblr, Flickr,
Linkedin and others in addition to the primary ones I mentioned earlier.
