Huh? I don't get the point of these responses -- to make me think that
it's all my job to design and create a positive social ecology on the list?
That doesn't make sense -- it will take all of us to design a safe,
constructive and productive online permaculture site for sharing ideas, not
just
one person. And because permaculture is a culturally and globally diverse
community, it will need to be welcoming to many different types of people
and foster diversity/polyculture rather than monocultures of whatever kind.
How can that possibly be the job of one person?

And I suppose they weren't given plenty of opportunity to be part of the
social ecology of the list.
Those were people wanting everything their way and were more than willing
to compromise the integrity
of the forum to accomplish this. I thought just ultra right wing types did
that.
