Hello, Toby Hemenway,

Thanks for the copyright/not info, I didn't know that.

We're going to take the opportunity here, as we are translating all the terms
etc into French to really make clear that after a PDC you got a certificate,
1st stage towards starting the Diploma process, you can go give talks,, intro
weekend, attend the in-house part of convergences, if you pass to Diploma
process you can call yourself a PmC trainee or apprentice. When you receive a
diploma you can call yourself a Permaculture Designer, teach PDC's,
partcipate with your peers at accreditations, have trainees/apprentices who
are in the diploma process.

Stella, off post, believes we should also have in place a "shortcut" for
people with lots of previous relevant experience and a "PmC mindset", I sort
of agree so we are considering having a pre-accrediitation process system
where people could present their life and work to a in-camera event, should
the work be of the right sort and quality then they could slide straight to
an accrediation event. The pre-event I think is important, when I got
accredited there was another there who presented and it was great stuff and
fine work but simply didn't show Permaculture Design process. Mind you
someone objected to me being accredited too which shows the system was alive
and kicking, at least back in the day.

Interesting thread this.
