While I have not used one myself, I know several people who use - and like
- the Country Living Grain Mill.

This is a hand-operated mill, but it is expensive ($350). It has a
flywheel, as you can see in the photo.

It is said to be very easy to operate and the people I know who have one
use it regularly to make flour for several loaves of bread. One woman says
her five year old child can easily operate it.

(I'd like to repeat: I have not used this myself. I have not seen it in
use either. But I'd love to have one!)
