How many on these lists still piss in drinking water? (You know that's contributing to vast dead zones in the oceans don't you?)
Unfortunately I still do. Last year when I was planning to move onto my land I started collecting urine: easy to do with a 1 gallon plastic bottle and an improvised funnel. I used it directly or diluted on plants (papayas, pineapples, okra) or poured it on a compost pile. Since then my plans changed and I moved to my brother's house, but will start again to collect urine.

How many have collected urine for use as fertilizer for the garden? (One person's annual urine output is enough to provide all the N needed for an Acre of garden.)
How many save all (or most) of their urine for the garden? What are your results.
I haven't noticed very significant differences on the plants I used urine on. Maybe because I use it on so many things I don't give enough to any of them. More research, and more urine, needed.

How many compost their feces? How do you do it? What do you do with it?
Last year I also built a box to support a toilet seat and 5 gallon bucket according to J. Jenkins' book. I used it for a few months whenever I went to my land and stayed overnight. Sawdust works fine but have to empty it more than once a week. Made one compost heap with humanure, and I'm using the compost now to grow lettuce in troughs. Lettuce tastes great. I wish I could have continued these experiments but it's not easy for me to move onto my land right now because of my job.

I wish someone would come up with a convenient way for women to collect their urine. I would like to get my sister who is 60 now and lives in Toronto to come back to Trinidad, since there is some spare room in my brother's house. I've never mentioned to her my interest in collecting urine or humanure and I'm not sure if she will like the idea.
