- Subject: [permaculture] natural water softening
- Date: Tue, 11 Jan 2005 18:02:25 -0500
Hi everyone,
I have indoor plants that are sensitive to the hard water of my area.
All water softening methods I've looked at involve either machinery or the
addition of salts. Under ideal circumstances I would just collect rainwater,
but this is prohibited by my current living situation. Are there any natural
and environmentally friendly ways of softening water?
much thanks
David Travis
