How about not buying plastic stuff that is destined for the dump in a very short time. Ditto for anything else that is not recyclable or sustainable...like skipping the foil wrapping paper and using all paper wrapping paper instead. Skipping so many of the plastic decorations, instead making and buying things made out of natural material....pine cones, twigs, ribbons, greenery that can be cut outside, etc.

Just a few things we try to do,

Lisa, in the Ozarks in Missouri, USA

Hey everyone,

Have been invited onto a noon hour radio phone-in program to expound on the notion of a "green" Christmas....

Any ideas ?

Claude
