Aloha,

Bill Mollison is not holed up in Taz, he's jetting about, rather quietly it
seems...

Aloha friends,

Dano and Robin Gorsich, permaculture farmers
from Molokai and the newest members of our GE-
Free Hawaii coalition, are having a
permaculture workshop with Bill Mollison next
week on Molokai. Dano asked me to pass the
information about the worksohp along to you, in
case any of you are interested in participating
or know others who might be.

On Moloka’i - Special Presentation - one day only

PERMACULTURE
A Practical Guide for a Sustainable Future

Since the late 70’s, Bill has traveled the globe, teaching Permaculture Design
to thousands of common people and establishing training centers worldwide.
And his favorite place to come visit in Hawaii is Moloka’i. Come meet Bill,
catch his vision, and explore his practical, eye-opening design solutions for
Moloka’i, including:
• Plenty Rain: income producing forests & neighborhood orchards
• Fire-Proof Ho’olehua: Plant-based, income and food producing borders which
put out fires, attract rain, and beautify the landscape
• Water for every farmer – On-Site ! : Building low-tech water catchment,
storage and delivery systems, & linked reservoirs
• Food Forests for every household: Genuine food security, economic
self-reliance, and freedom from dependency on the barge
Bill’s uniquely entertaining design strategies CAN result in a Moloka’i which
is abundant, self-reliant, economically flourishing, politically
self-determined, and offers real opportunities for healthy, enjoyable,
sustainable livelihood for our children and grandchildren.
