Victor Cusak has written 2 excellent books on bamboo here in Australia. The
first one 'Bamboo Rediscovered' and the new one 'Bamboo World' are both
great, well written and available through the website
www.bambooworld.com.au
Focus is on clumping bamboos and lots of really practical and easy-to follow
instructions, diagrams and detailed plans for building, furniture making,
musical instruments etc. Victor's structural engineering background together
with a lot of time spent in Asia really shines through with the practical
stuff and he's done work on engineering standards for building with bamboo.
