Careful about naming fields, then. There's PC 'zone' and hardiness
'zone'...
I'm not sure a PC zone field would be all that useful, or easy. I
think most plants would end up with "all" in that field unless the
field were a pointer to a (dynamic) list of anecdotal examples of use
of that plant in various zones for various purposes in various
contexts.
