That's why I posted it to a web page and not directly to the list so people
could chose to read it or not. It is because of research such as this that
the growing/using of comfrey is illegal in some (all?) parts of Australia.
We really need to know what corporate supported research is up to and what
spin they are putting on things so that we can defend ourselves and our
right to chose. I felt that because the article highlighted some of the
beneficial herbs it was at least balanced.

What we really need is a consortium/group/list which can formulate/write and
post replies to the writers of such research and the forums where the
original articles are published highlighting the beneficial, medicinal and
ecological, uses of such plants and comparing the damages quoted with that
done by contemporary medicines.

BTW does anybody know if stock will eat or are affected by eating comfrey?
