Steve, I can't tell you much, because my trees will be in only their
third leaf this spring, but I have the same three that you are
choosing, Jubileum, Northstar, and Bali. I chose Jubileum because MSU
extension said it was more resistant to brown rot than Danube.

So, I've had no fruit, but I can tell you that where I am, Jubileum is
struggling compared to the others. It's had a lot of leaf diseases,
early leaf drop, very slow growth. Possibly due to sweet cherry genes?
Sweet cherries have had a couple really bad years here due to weather,
lots of leaf diseases, early defoliation. Northstar and Bali both look
clean and healthy, and are putting on good growth each year. I have a
decent loam soil, although the only amendment I've added for these
trees is a 3 foot circle of 6 inch deep woodchips, and water weekly
the first season. We'll see about fruit! I'm hoping for some flowering
at least this year.
