I'm planning to pot mine up for the first year & grow them on a bit.  His price seems to be half of what others are asking so perhaps the old adage you get what you pay for applies here.  I'm mostly buy these because everyone on the list here keeps talking about them & I'm experiencing extreme bush cherry envy.

I've bought thousands of dollars of plants from Bill over the years & have never been disappointed.  He's one of the new nurseries that is organic (tho not certified), he's incredibly helpful on the phone & everything he sells he grows on site in a zone that is remarkably similar to mine.

His Carmine Jewel plants are very small.  Or at least, they were last year.  I bought mine from him, and as I said previously, I mowed one because I didn't see it in time, and the other was eaten by something, quite possibly a rabbit.

St. Lawrence is a nice company to do business with, though.  The plants, like every plant I've ever bought from them, was very nicely packaged and arrived healthy at a good time to plant it in my yard.
