His Carmine Jewel plants are very small.  Or at least, they were last year.  I bought mine from him, and as I said previously, I mowed one because I didn't see it in time, and the other was eaten by something, quite possibly a rabbit.

St. Lawrence is a nice company to do business with, though.  The plants, like every plant I've ever bought from them, was very nicely packaged and arrived healthy at a good time to plant it in my yard.

Much as I would like to have some U of S cherries, I've had bad experiences with the companies indicated, including the small size mentioned a couple of times.  I guess I'll have to wait until they become more common (and less expensive) before ordering these.  The cost/risk/benefit ratios are just too high for me at the moment.
