Macs also have this built into some printer drivers (look for the "Booklet Printing" option in the pdf Preview program print dialog).  In looking at the printers I use, half seem to support it and half don't.

If using windows, many printers will have "booklet" printout options.  Depends on the printer driver whether you will have that option, but you probably want to check that out before getting a program.

Perhaps the pdf files could also be posted in "booklet" form -- printing two sides on 8.5x11 paper will allow a booklet to be made by folding it in half, giving something nearly identical the printed Pomonas, just add the staple.  See http://bookletcreator.com/ for one program which will put pages in booklet form.  If the files are not posted that way you can always spend $10 yourself for this program and do your own booklet conversion.  Another alternative is to change the underyling Pomona design to be a two-column format which will fit a lot more per page.  This is the CRFG newsletter format for example.

With a document like the Pomona I like a printed copy to peruse.  If one prints all of it out it is 81 pages this time.  If it is printed duplex then it is still 42 sheets of paper and each sheet is 8.5 x 11.  With the amount of print that is one each page two pages should be able to fit on one side of each 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper and if it is duplexed that would cut the number of pages printed cut down to about 21 sheets of paper.  If this could be put in a booklet format it would even be better.

If the above is not practical could more information be put on each page so we don’t have so many pages with unused space on the page?  I’m not one that likes to read everything in the Pomona of the computer screen.

Is everyone else happy with printing out 81 pages or reading everything on the computer?

Our local area fruit club puts out the news information on a PDF format but each page is jam packed with information and I don’t have any problem with that.

I just thought I would add my two cents.
