Lee,
I have heard of apomixis in citrus before. Do you know if clones form
as single embryo seeds or are they like mango and a single seed will
contain one sexual embryo and maybe 1-4 clone embryos. This trait makes
cloning mango from seed easy as the sexual seedling is always in the
same place and can be nipped to allow the clones to grow on.

Most years I have found kumquat seed sprouting in the fruit if it is
left to hang long enough on the tree. It happens with both my round
kumquat and my nagami kumquat.
