Last few days here in Northeastern Washington, I've seen plenty of bumble and solitary bees, but few honeybees so far. Then again the weather has been wet and cold off and on for the past few weeks and few plants are blooming asides from the dandelions.
The few honeybees I've seen so far are black bees. Haven't see those around for a few years. Nearest apiary is ten miles away over in the Kettle Falls area so they are probably wild stock.
