While dormant cuttings don't root well, it's often possible to force a small green shoot that can be rooted in a mist bench with bottom heat. Green cuttings root very quickly, in as little as one to two weeks.

I've scored the cuttings beneath the bottom node, doused in rooting
hormone, put them on a propagation mat & cover the cuttings with
plastic. Now to figure out what the russian names mean.
