Jerry, I have done it in bags in the refrigerator, but often as not forget
them or have
then rot. Now I have more consistent luck washing them as clean as I
reasonably can,
mixing them with sphagnum moss, putting it all together into salvaged window
screen,
rolling up the edges, burying under leaves and a bit of soil. & with a big
well marked
stake to find next spring,
