I have one variety each of red, yellow, black, and purple growing in my
zone 5 location. I don't remember which varieties I have now, but he
most prolific one is the purple by leaps and bounds. I have never had
problems with late frost harming them in the 4 years I've had them.

I am considering a new planting of black and purple raspberries and
wonder
if someone on the list has experience with them.
In particular can they do well in a zone 5 prone to late spring frosts?
How is the culture compared to red rasp. and blackberries?
Thanks and HAPPY NEW YEAR
