We had a Reliance tree or two when we lived near Tomah, in SW Wisconsin, zone
5. We also knew a few others who had planted from a couple to a dozen or
more of them (this was back in the late 1970s). Ours lived long enough to
produce peaches for two seasons, then it died. The boys ate all the peaches
green one year, and the other year we had a couple of delicious peaches, not
the best ever, but better than grocery store ones. We were on a heavy clay
soil in the Driftless (unglaciated) part of SW WI.

Jim, now farther north in Menomonie, WI, trying various seedling peaches.

Reliance - almost no flavor - some say with enough minerals
taste becomes good.
