Meader's son, John is a nurseryman and he would have the true Reliance. Though I don't believe he sells anything by mail. Can you verify that Heron?

Have you considered the idea that not all nursery stock is correctly
labelled? Maybe your poor flavored Reliance is mislabelled.

say with enough minerals taste becomes good...
Here in Indiana my Reliance was had
wonderful flavor...
Jerry, what's the mineral profile in the soil in Indiana?...
