Del Stubbs asked about frost-proofing his orchard.
Del, spraying with a dormant oil when you see the first green from buds
breaking is said to delay flowering for as much as ten days. I haven't
tried it but I've been told it works. Also, the same claim is printed on
the back label of my bottle of dormant oil.
