I too have variable compatibility of pears on various rootstocks. I keep
putting them on different stock and am hoping to eventually get full grown
trees..
The oldhome x f series is no different.
I may just pick up a sucker and try grafting to it....with the same success
rates...
PS the deer don't help much...they've eaten everything around this
winter...and my smaller trees have been pruned to skeletons.
