I have successfully grafted asian pear on OHXF513, it is not overly dwarfing here in zone 6b (midAtlantic) - actually rather vigorous.
My experiences have been similar, so far; while OHxF 513 may be exceedingly dwarfing for Dr. Natalson in TX, Asians seem to do fine on it here in southern west-central KY(zone 6). While my grafts on 513 are only about 3 years old, the Asian varieties seem to be every bit as vigorous, if not more so, than the Southern(European type) pears grafted at the same time.
