Title: Re: [NAFEX] Will my figs ripen?
How much new growth do you get.  Many varieties fruit best on that season's new growth.  Also, they fruit better in pots if they are somewhat potbound.

I have some further question about fig culture in pots:

I am successful in keeping figs alive through the winter in
my unheated garage.

But fruiting is low to none at all.  I think my main problem is
the pot size and lack of repotting.  Other suggestions would
be welcome.

What size pots are others out there using?
(Note: for me giving approx dimensions would be more helpful
      than a gallons estimate)
How often do you repot?
What time of year do you repot?
How much fertilization do you do?

Thanks,
