Lucky:

Lodi quality (at its peak) is equal to stale cardboard..

Yellow Transp. (the real thing anyway) is superior for sauce and
slightly better for eating.
However, Pristine (in the same season) simply kills them both for sauce
and eating.

Or, at least that has been our experince.
