I bet Lon has something to say about this...
WAAAY Back in the 1970's, on SE 28th in Portland, OR, there was a
purple-leaved peach on the south side of an office building. purple peaches,
white-fleshed, small but quite delicious. Never saw leaf curl on it, but it
was virtually under the eave, next to the road & sidewalk. It was hit hard by
the ice storm of 1980, so they tore it out. End of story?
