Lisa - I will send it first thing Tuesday morning when I get to my other computer. I hope your enjoy the course!

You will discover that the clues are easy to place and it only take about an hour for each rider to run the course (we space riders and start them on 10 minute intervals). It is also a fun way to teach your MSAR Responders the proper basics of a (mounted) hasty search. I will also include a picture of the clue (water bottle) we use. We use (hiking type) water bottles since it is a relatively common clue that lost persons have often times discarded on past search missions.
PS: Una, back in the early years, our team used 1-gallon and then downsized to quart size milk jugs, but we found that not to many (if any) lost subjects have left milk jugs behind (as a clue), so that is another item that we did away with ;)

the team a scenerio of a person or group of people that have come up missing.

Chris- The first item that comes to mind is perhaps conducting a 10 clue POD course, used to established an MSAR responders POD percentage. I have a clue placement template that we use and can forward it to you, if you would like. This course is some what of a spin off of the NASAR SAR Tech-II (Ground) POD playing card test.
