I wear long sleeves for several reasons- sun burn, bugs, ticks, contact
dermatitis (poison ivy, poison oak, etc.), getting thorns or burrs, etc.
And in an emergency you can cut it up if you need cloth strips, or give it a
victim to wear while you ride home in your T shirt.
