The only idea for normalization was not to interfere with URL scheme of a
site, but rather to make sure the variations of hashing will be kept in some
kind of a framework that will enable everyone to speak in the same
normalized language.
It is not meant here to limit your URI structure, that's why I'm trying to
suggest something that will be general enough without hurting your structure
you chose.

Perhaps Fred is right in his previous response saying that it will be up to
the verifiers to do the job, leaving the implementers with just the need to
hash whatever URL they want to.

Perhaps the suggestion I have made for normalization should be a suggestion
for verifiers logic instead of microid implementers.
