Seconding that the shoes you wear make a great deal of difference.

I just took a fast google at the MBT's, but they don't seem to come in wide sizes. Red Wing used to make great boots that fit me, but that was years ago before the company was bought out. They don't have anything that fits me right any longer.

I got over the pain in the feet but now have lumpy achilles tendons that hurt. Does anyone know of therapies for healing these tendons?

I am on my feet alot moving fences for my sheep and lambs. Two years ago I was diagnosed with plantar faciitis. Last summer I wore my Red wings and at the end of the day I could barley walk.  But an old sheep herder out east told me about MBT shoes. They have stopped all my plantar faciitis pain. Big problem though is price, they are spendy. But to do away with my plantar faciitis pain I would probably pay anything.

Only other question I have about them will they last all summer.
