I have grown it for several years.  Grows like Italian Flat leaf parsley so is cut and cut again. Great winter hoop house crop.   We sell bunches mostly to restaurants but is getting some customer acceptence as a culinary herb at farmers markets.

I've been wondering about this crop for a while.  At what stage do you harvest?  How much of the plant is harvested?  Do you bunch it like parsley?  Does it grow back?  Is it a season-long crop or do you have to succession plant it?

We sell a "cutting celery" as an herb transplant and in herb and salad bowls at our spring market.  And, we love it to use for celery ourselves because it doesn't get too big.  It is great all winter in a minimally heated greenhouse for soups, stews, etc.  We don't typically sell it as a cut herb.

Bought transplants of the Par-Cel leaf celery for the garden.

It is an awesome leafy green plant for chopping like parsley, only bigger and thriftier.

It looks like an heirloom from England but did find seed in Johnny's.

Johnny's also has this interesting Arat (Petroselinum crispum) parsley root.

How common is Par-Cel in your FMs and CSAs?
