Looking at getting a tine weeder, and I have a couple of questions. Is
there a difference between a tine weeder and a Lely tine weeder? Do they
work in clay soils? Does it have to do with how well the bed is prepped or
hp or what? IT seems like they are adjustable to how much pressure they put
down, but not sure if it is enough for our clay. Also can you pick up some
to weed between crops that can not handle the blind cultivation? Any advice
from those who use them would be great.

Thanks,
Don

We use Squareup and love it.

I purchased an LG Ally android phone from eBay for $150. I made sure it had
a clean ESN (check via kittywireless.com or other Verizon reseller). I then
signed up at pagepluscellular.com for a new number on the $29.95 a month
plan.
This plan gives me 1200 minutes a month, 1200 texts and 50MB of data. I
setup with square and it worked great. The Squareup transactions took about
66 KB. I could run over 700 Squareup transactions with 50MB/month.

Since we go to 2 markets in the summer, I then bought another LG Ally from
eBay. (love this phone :-) My wife has a pay as you go plan on Page Plus.
Data is not included on her plan, its $0.0012/KB. We setup her phone to use
the same Squareup account and requested another reader from Squareup (They
are free, and they shipped another quickly).

We then ran some test transactions using her phone, and paying for the data
straight out. It cost about 8 cents per Squareup transaction. We thought
we would have to move her phone to a $29.95/month plan for the data, but at
8 cents, there's no need to.

We're VERY happy with this arrangement.

Some of you mentioned you are using Square up to be able to accept credit
cards at market with your cell phones. What cell phones are you using for
this? What service provider/plan are you using that is not prohibitively
expensive. Are any of you using mobile broadband for your internet
access? Are the limitations on usage reasonable?
Many thanks Sora at Paradise Valley Organics N.Id
