We grew hubbards for the first time this year as well.  Ours stayed blue- we have harvested most of them already.  Our yield was not good probably due to weed problems.  Most were fairly large- did not have any turn yellow though.  Not sure what that could be.

This is my first year growing blue hubbard squash, they are really big and just recently they turned from blue to yellow, the vines are still healthy and green and I assumed like other winter squash they would be ready to harvest when the vines started to die back and the squash rind was hard.  Any suggestions?  A few are still blue but not many.   Thanks.
