This year I'm planning to weave my tomatoes. I need to buy twine and was wondering what people on the list would recommend? During a long internet search I see that some places recommend nylon twine but I'd rather use a biodegradable or natural product.

Many twines are treated (including most baling twine), and it's often hard to figure out which twines are treated and which not -- I once called a supplier and was told that they didn't know either. If you're organic this is a concern.

Johnny's and High Mowing carry untreated twine; unfortunately not cheap (10 lb 3000' for just under $30), but it is sturdy stuff that stands up well to the weight of tomatoes. Watch out for lightweight stuff; some will stretch unreasonably and/or break.
