Along these same lines, I'd be curious to know if anyone is using the
clamshell containers for their salad greens, rather than plastic bags.
We're considering switching to clamshells and I wonder if others have used both
at market, and what the results were for each.
Secondly, there was an article in Yahoo news about how to help greens
stay fresh longer, presumably after they've already gotten home. I'd be
curious if anyone has proven or disproven these methods:
If this is generally good advice (and doesn't run afoul of any known food
safety policy) I might copy this article and include it for customers buying
greens. Any comment?
